Air Guiding

When the engine is operating, the cylinders draw in air intermittently, creating pulsed airflow in the intake passage. The intake pipe (especially the surge tank/resonance chamber at its end) acts as a buffer container—it stores a portion of air, smooths out pressure fluctuations, and ensures a stable, sufficient airflow supply each time a cylinder's intake valve opens.

Reducing Intake Resistance
A pipe with a smooth interior and rational design can minimize air flow resistance, allowing air to enter the cylinders more smoothly. This improves volumetric efficiency (the ratio of the actual amount of air entering the cylinders to the theoretical amount).

Controlling Airflow Pattern
Through specific pipe shapes and structures (such as swirl flaps), the intake pipe can induce air to form swirls or tumble flows. This organized airflow movement helps fuel and air mix more thoroughly, enabling faster and more complete combustion.

The intake pipe is divided into two sections: The pipe at the front of the turbocharger guides air to the compressor side of the turbocharger; the pipe at the rear of the turbocharger (commonly referred to as the "intercooler intake pipe") delivers the high-pressure air (after supercharging and cooling) to the engine's intake manifold. This section of the pipe needs to withstand higher pressure, so it has extremely high requirements for material quality and sealing performance.
Higher-grade materials (e.g., carbon fiber) are usually used to manufacture "cold air intake kits" (with mushroom-shaped air filters) or thicker, smoother pipes. The sole purpose is to maximize the reduction of intake resistance, improve the engine's air intake efficiency, and thereby extract more horsepower.

Raw Materials

Pipe Manufacturing
The continuous pipe manufacturing production equipment can carry out welding processing for plate thicknesses of 0.15-2.5 mm and pipe diameters of 25-76 mm.
Forming
The independently developed internal high-pressure forming equipment uses water for internal high-pressure forming, which can smoothly carry out physical deformation on the product without damaging the material. It has the characteristics of special-shaped deformation processing, environmental protection, and high efficiency.
Assembly
The independently developed robot workstation is used for assembly and welding to ensure the stability of product quality.

100% immersion testing.
Final Inspection/Packaging
The main installation dimensions are fully inspected at 100% to ensure that no defective products flow out.

Cross-Sectional Dimension Inspection
Purpose: To inspect bellows-related data, including the thickness error rate after forming and the weld penetration depth.

Full-Size Product Inspection
Purpose: Inspect all dimensions of the product in accordance with the product drawing to ensure all data meet customer requirements.

Purpose: To test the elongation and tensile strength of the material.

Weld Strength Inspection
Purpose: Through tensile tests / destructive tensile tests, verify whether the weld strength is sufficient, whether the weld penetration meets requirements, and whether there are air holes in the weld structure.

Purpose: To verify the surface corrosion resistance of bellows when exposed to salt spray conditions for a long time.

Purpose: The air tightness test aims to verify whether there is leakage in the bellows and its connection parts, ensuring sealing performance and reliability under pressure conditions.
Testing Equipment: (Test method: Fill the bellows with gas of a certain pressure, such as air or nitrogen, and judge the sealing performance by detecting pressure drop or air bubble leakage.)
