Q: Can you manufacture EGR pipes from my drawing or sample?

A: Yes. We support custom shape, length, pipe diameter, corrugation structure, flange pattern and port layout. A 3D model such as STEP or IGS is preferred for review; 2D drawings with sufficient dimensional information are also acceptable, and a sample can be evaluated when no drawing is available.

Q: How are tolerances confirmed for a custom EGR pipe?

A: Tolerances are confirmed feature by feature against your drawing - pipe diameter, overall length, flange hole position and flatness may each carry a different band. Please mark the required tolerance on any fit-critical dimension so we can confirm it can be achieved reliably before production. Tolerance figures are issued with the technical datasheet.

Q: What surface treatments are available?

A: Various surface treatments are available on request, including polishing, grinding and coating finishes. The suitable finish depends on the material, the appearance requirement and the corrosion exposure, so please state your requirement on the drawing or in your enquiry and we will confirm what we can supply.

Q: How is each EGR pipe inspected before shipment?

A: Production takes place in our ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified facility. Each EGR pipe undergoes 3D laser scanning for dimensional accuracy, flange flatness inspection, vibration testing, an air leakage pressure test, and a 100% dimensional check before delivery. Additional inspection items can be arranged for specific requirements.

Q: What information do you need to quote an EGR pipe, and what is the MOQ?

A: Please provide the application, the drawing or sample details, material and wall thickness, pipe diameter and overall length, the end configuration (flange or barbed nipple), surface treatment, quantity and required delivery date. MOQ is negotiable and depends on the design and forming process, and samples or first articles can be arranged before batch production.
