Q：What are the advantages of aluminized steel, SS201 and SS304 nipples?

A：Aluminized steel: Low cost, good high-temperature oxidation resistance, widely adopted for OE production. SS201: Better rust-proof performance than aluminized steel, moderate cost with good cost-efficiency. SS304: Best overall corrosion & heat resistance. Good anti-rust performance even on weld zones, long service life for harsh corrosive working conditions.

Q: What is the function of outer braid?

A: The outer braid protects the inner bellows from stone impact and mechanical abrasion.

Q：What is the difference in bellows protection between Interlock and Inner-Braid?

A: Interlock solid metal sleeve blocks most hot exhaust and carbon particles to protect bellows. Inner-Braid mesh allows gas & carbon to hit bellows directly, shorter service life in harsh conditions.

Q: Can we customize the nipple/end tube length?

A: Yes, you can custom nipple/end tube length. Send us your drawing or dimension requirements.

Q：What are the benefits of flex pipe with nipple ends?

A: Without nipples, weld heat will damage bellows, inner liner and outer braid directly. With nipples, all welding is done on solid rigid tube. Heat is kept away from flexible bellows section, extending service life. Easy slip-on fit to exhaust pipe, better alignment and sealing, clamp-install supported. Note: Nipples add overall length; bare flex pipe is cheaper for customer secondary fabrication.
