A: A hydroformed tube is formed as one piece instead of being assembled from multiple cut and welded sections. The tube blank is placed in a die and formed from the inside by high-pressure fluid, allowing complex and irregular profiles to be produced in an integrated forming process. This can reduce welding joints, provide a smoother inner surface and help achieve shapes that are difficult to make by conventional bending and welding. For simple straight or single-bend parts, a conventional fabricated tube may be more practical.

A: Yes. We can manufacture complex and irregular profiles, including multi-bend shapes, tapered or expanded sections, shaped ends and tubes with integrated features such as sensor ports. Pre-bending the tube blank before hydroforming can also help achieve complex geometries that are difficult to produce by bending alone. 3D models such as STEP or IGS are preferred for review, while 2D drawings can also be reviewed if they contain sufficient dimensional information. Samples can also be provided for evaluation when no drawing is available.

A: Each batch is inspected according to the agreed drawing and quality requirements. Inspection includes 3D laser scanning for shape verification, wall-thickness inspection, pressure leak testing and 100% dimensional inspection before delivery. For products with specific requirements, additional inspection items can also be discussed. Production takes place in our ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified facility.

A: Tolerances are confirmed based on the specific features and requirements of your drawing. Different features, such as tube diameter, wall thickness, formed profile, hole position and end dimensions, may require different tolerances. For fit-critical dimensions, please indicate the required tolerance on the drawing so we can confirm whether it can be achieved reliably before production.

A: MOQ is negotiable and depends on the product design and forming process. Lead time also depends on the complexity of the shape, tooling requirements and order quantity, so we confirm it after reviewing the drawing. Samples or first articles can be arranged for fit and dimensional confirmation before batch production. For custom parts, tooling and sample costs will be confirmed separately before production.
