We offer both one-way liner and two-way liner versions. Material options of SS201 and SS304 are available. It is ideal for applications requiring vibration absorption, thermal compensation and steady gas flow.

Q: What is the function of outer braid?

A: The outer braid protects the inner bellows from stone impact and mechanical abrasion.

Q: What applications fit for Unlined (no inner braid, no interlock) flex pipe? What are its limitations?

A: Unlined flex pipe features low cost and minimum exhaust flow restriction. However, the bellows directly contacts hot exhaust gas, leading to faster fatigue failure. It suits lowcost OEreplacement projects, NOT for turbocharged vehicles or heavyduty diesel applications.

Q：What is the difference in bellows protection between Interlock and Inner-Braid?

A: Interlock solid metal sleeve blocks most hot exhaust and carbon particles to protect bellows. Inner-Braid mesh allows gas & carbon to hit bellows directly, shorter service life in harsh conditions.

Q：What is the difference between soft wiremesh outer layer and regular outer braid?

A: Soft wiremesh is diamond knotted outer cover with bigger openings. It offers better flexibility for large angular movement & misalignment, but lower abrasion & tear resistance. Good for highvibration condition. Regular outer braid has dense weave, stronger stoneimpact & tensile protection for bellows, less flexible movement.
